GHI debuts interactive roundtables to boost collaboration

Interactive breakout groups enable unique opportunity for cross-party problem solving

GHI’s Leaders Academy successfully pioneered innovative virtual roundtable discussion groups in a bid to foster stakeholder collaboration through the coronavirus crisis.

Four breakout groups on topics including SLAs/KPIs, Creating a Culture of the Future, Employee-led Innovation and Digitisation allowed attendees to discuss business challenges live with their peers for the first time.

Each session was hosted by a workshop facilitator with participation from airlines, ground handlers, airports and suppliers across the world.

The initiative aims to provide a crucial forum for the aviation family to share best practice learnings while the pandemic prevents physical gatherings.

John Boult, Managing Director at Damarel Systems, said: “Well done to everyone who took part and a huge thanks to the team at GHI for putting on a great event. The format really promoted engagement and participation – just what we all needed.”

James Wyatt, Aviation Consultant at aeroconcept, added: “Very interesting and interactive sessions. I’ve done many calls and conferences on video call and GHI was very successful at achieving audience engagement.”

Thank you to all of our workshop facilitators and delegates for taking part in the pilot.

We look forward to rolling out the interactive roundtables to future GHI events.
